Ana M.
Briongos, Barcelona 1946, physicist, writer
and tireless traveller. She was a student
of literature at Tehran University and worked in Irán and Afganistán for a períod of nearly ten years as a consultant and
translator. Betwen 1982 and 1992 she was the director of Interway an
international exchange student organisation. She is now a
writer.
Being an Ex-Professor, she has a comprehensive
knowledge of the Islamic world. She also has a passion
for adobe architecture, Persian Poetry,
bazaars, deserts, the Hindu Kush mountains, the plains of Central
Asia and above all, for the people who inhabit these
